Our patio construction process is carefully planned to produce a low-maintenance product that will be enjoyed for years to come. We start with a carefully prepared base of open-grade aggregate, ensuring structural integrity and effective drainage. This type of structure allows space for water to freeze during the thirty or so freeze/thaw cycles that occur every year in Nebraska. Giving the water room to expand when it freezes prevents the frost heave that can easily happen in our part of the country.
Then we use interlocking pavers, or natural stones, which are connected with joints. The joints between the pavers or stones are sealed with a high-quality polymeric sand that joins the pavers together but still allows flexion over the entire surface to prevent cracking or major damage. By adhering to and surpassing industry best practices, we seek to deliver a beautiful and well-crafted patio that stands the test of time.
